Charleston, WV — West Virginia’s statewide unemployment numbers for September 2019 has been released. According to WorkForce West Virginia, the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased to 4.7 percent, up one-tenth of a percentage point in September. The number of unemployed state residents increased 300 to 37,100. The national unemployment rate decreased to 3.5 percent in September.
