Harlan County, KY — As the coal miners’ protest continues into its third day in Harlan County, those miners are vowing to stay on the railroad tracks, blocking a coal train from leaving Coverlick Mine 1. The mine is part of Blackjewel LLC which is a part of Revelation Energy LLC which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection July 1st. The miners say they are just looking to be compensated for work they did prior to the shutdown and will remain on the tracks until they get answers from Blackjewel or receive their pay.
