MAGOFFIN COUNTY, KY.-We all know to stop when school buses are loading and unloading students. Unfortunately, not everyone follows by the rules, which can create a dangerous situation for children. Thursday 28-year old Jessica Minix of Salyersville was arrested after she allegedly passed an unloading Magoffin County school bus narrowly missing a student. The incident was caught on video surveillance footage and shows a car, said to be driven by Minix, speeding around the stopped bus disregarding the flashing lights and stop sign and coming within a few feet of striking a student. Minix was charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license, reckless driving and 1st degree wanton endangerment which is a class D felony and is punishable by up to 5-years in prison.
