A Martin County woman is in jail after police found her 2 year old wandering around outside Monday night. Martin County deputies and Kentucky State Troopers responded just before 10pm, after neighbors reported seeing 31 year old Amy Justice let her toddler outside, then shut the door. According to the arrest citation, officers located the child outside, then found Justice in the bathroom allegedly shooting up. Justice was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, disorderly conduct, menacing and resisting arrest. Officers also found 41 year old Nicholas Ward hiding in a bedroom closet. Ward had a used syringe and a plastic bag containing what is believed to be meth. In addition to the drug charges, Ward also had a number of outstanding warrants. Both remain lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
