Woman charged after ramming vehicle into mobile home

A Pike County woman is facing felony charges after ramming her vehicle into a mobile home, narrowly missing two sleeping children.  Officials with the Pike Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office say just after midnight on June 7th, 34 year old Melissa Ann Collins, who also goes by Melissa Flannery, ran her vehicle into a mobile home on Meathouse Road at Kimper, admitting to State Troopers that she was angry at the woman who lived there.  Collins vehicle ended up in the underpinning of the trailer, directly below a bedroom where two small children were sleeping.  A Pike County Grand Jury has indicted Collins on two charges of first degree wanton endangerment and one charge of first degree criminal mischief.  She is scheduled to be arraigned in Pike Circuit Court on June 26th.
