Wreck snarls traffic in Floyd County

PRINTER, Ky. — Traffic was snarled in Floyd County after a tractor trailer wreck. It happened Friday morning on Route 122 at Printer.

According to the owner, the driver lost control due to slick roads. No injuries were reported at the scene. Martin Fire and Rescue, Floyd County Emergency Management, Kentucky State Police and K.S.P. Commercial Vehicle Enforcement were all on scene. Crew members placed sand on the roadway to soak up diesel fuel on the ground.

Traffic was down to one lane for several hours while officials cleared and cleaned the roadway.

The incident remains under investigation.
