WHITESBURG, Ky. — Three people are dead following a two-vehicle crash on the Route 15 Bypass in Whitesburg.

According to Kentucky State Police, Gregory Branham, 58, of Mayking, was driving a Chevy pickup truck just before 7:30 Thursday night, when he crossed the center line and struck another car driven by Karen Jackson, 70, of Neon.

Both drivers were killed, as well as a child passenger.

Two other passengers were airlifted to Pikeville Medical Center with serious injuries.

Toxicology and autopsy results are pending, and the investigation is continuing.
