PAINTSVILLE, Ky. — Johnson County Sheriff Doug Saylor arrested two people and recovered a stolen vehicle during a traffic stop on Tuesday.
Saylor pulled over a suspicious vehicle on Colvin Branch Road just after 9 p.m. Tuesday.
After determining the car had been reported as stolen, he arrested the driver, Katelyn Allen, 30, of Salyersville. She is charged with a felony count of receiving stolen property as well as traffic violations.
A passenger in the car — 34-year-old Andrew Calloway, of Paintsville — was also arrested on charges of public intoxication and giving an officer a false name.
Both were booked in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center and have since made bond.
