6 arrested after deputies and U.S. Marshals raid Mingo home

WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — Six people were arrested after Mingo County deputies and U.S. Marshals raided a home late Wednesday night.

The agencies had been involved in a two-year drug investigation which culminated in the raid. Officers seized nearly 8 ounces of meth and fentanyl, along with four guns and $14,000 in cash.

Five people were arrested in connection with the drug raid. They include Christopher Jerome Jackson, 37; Kenneth Frank Warren, 37; Dennis Michael Horn, 24; and Lauren Mikeala Horn, 20, all of Williamson; and Tyran Clement Turner, 27, of Pittsburgh.

Also arrested was Jasie Alexis West, 22, of Williamson, on felony warrants in connection with a drive-by shooting.

The operation was dedicated to West Virginia State Police Sgt. Terry Toney, who died Oct. 31. Toney was said to have been an instrumental part of the investigation before his passing.
