PHELPS, Ky. — A Pike County woman has been arrested for fleeing the scene of an accident after threatening the other driver with a gun.
The crash happened back on March 9. A driver told police she was involved in a wreck with a black Chevy S-10. Following the collision, the driver told police the other driver pulled to the side of the road, pointed a gun at her, then fled the scene.
After investigating, police identified the suspect as Teresa Whitt, 49, of Phelps.
Police finally caught up to her Thursday night. She was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, menacing, and numerous traffic violations.
