ELKHORN CITY, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in Pike County.

Police were called to a home on Marrowbone Creek Road, where they found Jeffery Coleman, 42, of Shelbiana, suffering from a stab wound.

Coleman was taken to a hospital for treatment, but his injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.

Kentucky State Police is investigating the case and plans to present their findings to a grand jury.
