PAINTSVILLE, Ky. — Two women were taken to jail, after a hotel employee spotted a large amount of cash and drugs in their room.

Police were called to the Ramada Inn in Paintsville, following the discovery. A state trooper went to the women’s room and was let inside, where he discovered meth and four different types of pills, along with more than $5,000 in cash.

One of the women in the room — Donna Sue Wireman, 41, of Leburn — told police that all of the drugs and cash were hers. She was arrested on five counts of drug trafficking and other charges.

Her admission did not keep her companion — Ogie Moore, 54, of Garrett — out of jail. She was arrested when police discovered a warrant for cultivating marijuana.
