PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — Six-and-a-half years after he was charged with murder when a body was discovered buried in a shallow grave on his property, it is still not known when Wesley Glenn Martin will go on trial.
Martin, 46, of Wayland, was arrested in February 2019, after the body of 26-year-old Jordan Tackett was found. The case was scheduled to go on trial Sept. 8, but his attorney, Ned Pillersdorf, asked for a continuance because he has another murder trial in scheduled for the same day in Perry County.
On Thursday, the case was postponed indefinitely.
A hearing will be held Oct. 2 to go over options for a new trial date.
