Hello Pike County friends and neighbors. My name is Josh Mayhorn, a 35 year old, life long resident of the Stopover community of Pike County Kentucky.

For the past year running for the opportunity to represent the county and the people of district 5 as a grassroots Republican candidate for magistrate has weighted heavily on my mind, so I’ve decided to throw my hat in the ring. 

As a proud resident of Pike county and a new generation of up and coming leaders, I’m committed to serving our county with integrity, transparency, a strong work ethic and being a fresh and different option for the voters to choose from in the upcoming elections in 2026. 

As a young man with deep roots in this county, I understand the importance of a balanced budget and creating opportunities for growth within the county, ensuring that our county government is efficient and effective across all districts.
