MARTIN, Ky. — Appalachian Regional Healthcare announced today it has finalized its purchase of the Saint Joseph Martin hospital and its clinics.

ARH assumed ownership and operations of the facilities at 12:01 Sunday morning. The 25-bed Saint Joseph Martin hospital will operate under the new name, ARH Our Lady of the Way Hospital.

ARH also announced that Kathy Stumbo, who has served as president of the hospital since 2001, will continue as the Community CEO for ARH Our Lady of the Way.

ARH Our Lady of the Way is the 12th member of the ARH system.
