PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — The man charged with killing three Floyd County police officers will have to wait before entering a plea of either guilty or not guilty.
Lance Storz, 49, was scheduled to be arraigned Monday afternoon. However, water issues at the Floyd County Justice Center closed that building, forcing the hearing to be postponed.
No new date has been set, but Commonwealth’s Attorney Brent Turner said it will likely be rescheduled for one day next week.
Storz is charged with murder, attempted murder, assault and wanton endangerment following an armed standoff with police June 30th in Allen.
