BELFRY, Ky. — A Belfry High School teacher and assistant football coach has been suspended, while he is being investigated for unspecified allegations.

Supt. Reed Adkins confirmed the investigation into allegations against Nathan Coleman to Mountain Top News Tuesday afternoon.

Adkins could not disclose the nature of the allegations against Coleman, but said Pike County Schools is cooperating with Kentucky State Police and Commonwealth’s Attorney Bill Slone in the investigation.
