It was all Betsy Layne on Tuesday night, as the Ladycats rolled past Lawrence County 3-0 at home.
Betsy Layne controlled the match from the start, taking sets of 25-19, 25-8 and 25-20.
Junior standout Jayden Jarrell powered the offense with 17 kills, a serving ace and an assist. She got plenty of help from fellow junior Jania Isom, who tallied 20 assists and a block.
The victory moved Betsy Layne to 7-2 on the season, while Lawrence County slipped to 4-6.
Next up, the Ladycats host Belfry at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 15. Lawrence County will also be in action that night, hitting the road to face Fairview at 6 p.m.
