LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Johns Creek Archery Team walked away with some bragging rights following the National Archery in the Schools Program state tournament this past Friday.
Team member Blake Mullins delivered an outstanding performance, shooting an impressive score of 274 out of a possible 300.
Of the 1,585 middle school partipants, Mullins finished in 102-place.
While his score fell just short of qualifying for the nationals, the team said he will certainly be a valued member of Pike Central High School’s archery team next year.
“We are incredibly proud of the effort, dedication, and sportsmanship Blake demonstrated while representing Johns Creek, team members said Tuesday. “Blake will be a great asset to the Pike Central High School Archery Team next year, and we look forward to seeing all the success that lies ahead for him.”
Mountain Top Sports wants to congratulate Mullins and the entire Johns Creek Archery Team for representing our mountain student-athletes so well!
