The Lawrence County Bulldogs took care of business Tuesday night, rolling past Magoffin County 79-52 in 2A Section 8 Boys Basketball Tournament action.
Lawrence County had four players finish in double figures and controlled the game on both ends of the floor. Hayden Perry led the way with a strong double-double, scoring 20 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.
Kaiden Harris followed with 15 points, while CJ Waller turned in an impressive performance of his own with 14 points and a game-high 19 rebounds. Kaden Johnson rounded out the scoring effort with 11 points.
As a team, the Bulldogs shot 39.7 percent from the field, 21.4 percent from three-point range and 62.5 percent from the free-throw line. Lawrence County also owned the boards, finishing with 44 rebounds on the night.
The win improves Lawrence County to 8-5 on the season. The Bulldogs will be back in action Monday, Jan. 12, when they travel to Shelby Valley for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff.
