LICK CREEK, Ky. –  Thanks to the US Army Corps of Engineers staff at Fishtrap Lake, people wanting to fish at the Lick Creek Recreation area near Elkhorn City now have more opportunities to do so.  Last week, Fishtrap staff replaced an old fishing pier that had been built years ago, but they also added a walkway and courtesy dock for loading and unloading from boats in the water.  The new pier will be ready for use when the water level in the lake rises to its summer level in just a few weeks.
