PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A former Letcher County teacher already charged with raping a 14-year-old and sexual exploitation of a minor has now also been charged with cyber-stalking.

Charles Evans Hall Jr., 48, was charged in Letcher Circuit Court with rape, sodomy and sex abuse involving a 14-year-old student following an investigation in 2018. Then, late last year, he was indicted by a federal grand jury on a charge of enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity, which he recorded on video.
Now, a federal grand jury has added a charge of cyber-stalking. The charge alleges he used Facebook, Instagram and the internet to harass and intimidate an unidentified person.

Hall was already facing up to 30 years in prison on the enticement charge. The cyber-stalking charge could add up to five more years.

Hall is currently being held in the Pike County Detention Center.
