Drug tips lead to two arrests in Floyd County

PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and Martin Police Department teamed up to make two drug arrests early Thursday morning.

Officers were following up on several tips about illegal drug activity in both Allen and Middle Creek, so they went to conduct knock-and-talks two a home in each location.

On Middle Creek, after obtaining permission to search, they found several bags of containing a total of 136 grams of meth along with other items believed to be used for trafficking. In Allen, they found a bag containing 17 grams of meth.

Alexander Skeens, 41, of Wittensville, was arrested for meth trafficking and other charges at the Middle Creek home. Michael Ousley, 41, of Pikeville, was arrested in Allen and charged with meth possession.

Both were booked in the Floyd County Detention Center.
