WITTENSVILLE, Ky. — A Johnson County woman has been arrested after police say she stabbed her husband during an argument.
Deputies were called to a Wittensville home Wednesday afternoon over a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, the victim told police he had been arguing with his wife, identified as Christina Wireman, 48, when she grabbed a pair of scissors and used them to stab him in the right forearm.
When a deputy went to question her about the incident, he spotted blood on her arm and asked her where it came from. She reportedly replied that she got it on her when she stabbed her husband.
Wireman was arrested on a charge of second-degree assault.
