LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)–Disgraced attorney Eric C. Conn will be sentenced Friday in federal court in Lexington.

Conn faces the possibility of nearly three decades in prison after taking a new plea deal back in June.

Conn already faced 12 years in prison for his role in a massive social security fraud scheme, but that was before he fled the country to Honduras.

As part of his new deal, Conn had to plead guilty to three conspiracy-related charges.

He will also have to pay social security back more than $73 million.

His sentencing is set for 1 p.m
