PIKEVILLE, Ky. –  Now through the first of the year, motorists throughout Kentucky will see a larger number of police officers patrolling the roads, thanks to the annual Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign.  Several law enforcement agencies throughout the state participate in the program, which provides funding to allow more officers on the road to watch for impaired drivers during the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays.   In the last five years, 23 people have lost their lives as a result of drunk driving crashes in Kentucky.
