Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal fire that happened this morning in Floyd County.

It happened just before six this morning in Endicott when police received a 911 call reporting a house fire with someone possibly inside.

During a search of the home, the arson investigator confirmed a body was discovered inside. The body was sent to Frankfort for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

No foul play is suspected at this time.
