
SALYERSVILLE, Ky. — A tip concerning the location of a person wanted on warrants resulted in the Magoffin County Sheriff’s Office arresting five people for fentanyl trafficking.
A deputy was on patrol Feb. 20, when he received a tip that a person who possibly had outstanding warrants was at an apartment on Patrick Drive.
When the deputy arrived at the home, a woman let him inside and he immediately spotted several syringes and plastic bags containing residue lying out in the open. He then found a container with 33 grams of fentanyl inside, so he placed everyone in the house under arrest. The suspects include:
- Steven Ray Davis, 41, of Inez
- Kimberly Ann Compton, 39, of Salyersville
- Gary Anthony Patrick, 50, of Salyersville
- Mary Lou Hall-Collinsworth, 47, of Salyersville
- Dillon Gamble, 31, of Salyersville
A further search of the residence revealed two more bags containing 10 grams of fentanyl, hundreds of syringes scattered around the apartment, numerous other items of drug paraphernalia, about 3-thousand dollars in cash and three handguns.
All five were charged with fentanyl trafficking and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Davis was additionally charged with felon in possession of a firearm.
All five remain in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, in Paintsville.
