
PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — A Floyd County school administrator has been indicted, following accusations she sexually assaulted minors.
April Bradford, 50, of Weeksbury, has been charged with 11 counts of first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, one count of second-degree sodomy, and seven counts of third-degree sodomy. Of the charges, second-degree sodomy is the most serious, carrying a potential sentence of 10-to-20 years in prison, if convicted
Bradford is listed on the Floyd County Schools website as assistant principal and athletic director at South Floyd Elementary. She was reportedly suspended from her positions once the allegations came to light.
The case was investigated by the Kentucky State Police Special Prosecutions Unit and is being prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
