FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (MTN) — Health officials have confirmed a new positive case of COVID-19 on June 29 in Floyd County, Kentucky.
According to the Floyd County Health Department, this most recent case brings the total to 29 cases in the county.
Health officials say that of the 29 total, 8 are currently considered to be active and that since June 15, Floyd County has seen an increase of 11 new positive cases of COVID-19.
The Floyd County Health Department is asking the public to consider limiting your close contact with others as the number of contacts continues to increase.
No other information regarding the patients were released.
