PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — A Floyd County man has been arrested on a charge of assaulting a woman.

Wessley Poston, 24, of Prestonsburg, is accused of punching a woman in the face twice, causing four fractures in the bones around her eye.

Poston left the area after the incident, but he was found a short time later at a local gym.

He is now charged with second-degree assault, a felony carrying a potential sentence of 5-to-10 years in prison.
