MILLARD, Ky. — A Floyd County man has been arrested on a felony charge for allegedly firing a gun at a car in Pike County.

Kentucky State Police received a call of the man shooting at the car and then chasing it on U.S. 460. Police soon located the shooter, identified as Homer Parsons, 59, of Harold.

Parsons reportedly told police he fired his gun up in the air after the occupants took money from him in a flea market parking lot.

However, the witness told police that Parsons took a “shooter’s stance” and appeared to be aiming directly at the car. The witness also said they were in the line of fire and could have been hit.

Parsons was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment.
