
The Prestonsburg Lady Blackcats put on a dominant road performance Monday night, rolling past Morgan County 6-1.
Senior star Jade Fitzpatrick was the driving force, netting four goals and an assist to push her season total to 46 goals. She was backed by Kendyl Stephens, who added two goals and two assists, giving her five goals for the year. Paisley Slone chipped in two assists, lifting her season numbers to 14 goals and 17 assists.
In the net, goalkeeper Savanna Briggs turned away eight shots, holding Morgan County to just one goal.
The win improves Prestonsburg to 10-5-1 as they close out the regular season at home tonight against Perry Central. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m.
Elsewhere in girls soccer Monday night, Belfry shut out Knott Central 7-0, while Johnson Central rolled past Pikeville 6-0.
