HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Miners snap skid with big road win at Tolsia

Mingo Central took charge of the game in the early moments and rolled to a 55-20 win over Tolsia, ending a four-game losing streak at Wilt Salmons Field on Friday night.

Running back Dylan Vance ran for 220 yards and three touchdowns and hauled in a TD pass as the Miners moved to 2-4. Jake Cline added 87 yards on six carries and two scores.

Quarterback Chris Ross passed for 130 yards and three touchdown passes. J.R. Perry, Alex Muncy and Vance.

The Miners will host Shady Spring (2-4) at Buck Harless Stadium on Friday night. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
