HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Rams rough up Bobcats in district battle

Betsy Layne ran into a buzzsaw at home as Class 1A power Raceland cruised to a 57-6 win over the Bobcats in a district game played on Friday night.

Running back Brady Robinson carried 15 times for 56 yards, including a 36-yard touchdown run just over midway through the final quarter.

Raceland’s defense held the Bobcats, now 4-3, to just 96 total yards.

Betsy Layne will host Paintsville (3-4) on Friday night. Kickoff from Bobcat Field is 7:30 p.m.
