PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Johnson County woman has been indicted in federal court on charges of distributing meth.
Jennifer Perez, 47, of Paintsville, is charged with three counts of distributing meth. The indictment alleges she distributed meth on three occasions in February.
The first charge carries a sentence of up to 20 years, if she is convicted. However, the other two charges each allegedly involved more than 50 grams of meth, which enhances the sentence to up to 40 years in prison.
Perez is apparently not in custody at this time, so prosecutors have requested a warrant for her arrest.
