Kentucky now taking applications for rent help

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentuckians having trouble paying their rent during the COVID-19 pandemic now have a new resource for help.

Gov. Andy Beshear today announced a website where people can apply for assistance is now up and accepting applications

The Healthy at Home Eviction Relief Fund uses $15 million in federal CARES Act money to help tenants obtain up to 90 percent of past due rent, and in some cases can also pay up to two months of future rent. Payments will be made directly to landlords.
