PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Letcher County man has indicated he intends to plead guilty in a federal child porn case.

Eric Banks, 46, and Nicole Combs, 33, are each charged with one count of producing child pornography. Combs is also charged with sex abuse, sodomy and incest in Letcher Circuit Court for allegedly subjecting a 4-year-old to criminal sexual activity, while Banks is charged with promoting a sexual performance by a minor for allegedly filming Combs and the child.

On Monday, Banks asked that he be rearraigned, saying he has reached a plea deal with prosecutors. A judge has scheduled his re-arraignment hearing for Wednesday.

Combs has been ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. Her attorney has indicated he plans to offer an insanity defense in the case.
