WHITESBURG, Ky. — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted for murder.
Lawrence “Eugene” Halcomb, 39, of Blackey, is wanted for murder and fetal homicide. Police say he is believed to be the person responsible for shooting and killing 43-year-old Vanessa Halcomb, of Linefork, Thursday afternoon.
The suspect is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 185 lbs., with dark hair and brown eyes. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
