PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Letcher County woman has admitted to distributing meth.

Joanna Davis, 38, of Whitesburg, pleaded guilty in federal court to distributing more than 50 grams of meth last July. In her plea agreement, she admitted to selling 56 grams of meth to an informant for $500.

In exchange for her plea, prosecutors have agreed to drop two additional charges against her.

She now faces between five and 40 years in prison when she is sentenced Aug. 3.
