MOUTHCARD, Ky. — A Pike County man was arrested after police say he stabbed his uncle multiple times.

It happened around 6 p.m. Sunday, when the uncle went to 40-year-old Jeremy Johnson’s home at Mouthcard to retrieve a pickup truck he claimed had been stolen from him.

The uncle told police when he knocked on the door, Johnson punched through the screen door at him. The uncle then tried to get away, but he said Johnson knocked him to the ground and began punching and kicking him, then began stabbing him in the back.

The man sustained stab wounds to his upper back, the back of his head and the interior of his right ear. Police noted that there was blood outside of the home, but not inside.

Johnson was arrested on a charge of first-degree assault. He remains in the Pike County Detention Center.
