Logan County felon pleads guilty to gun charge

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Logan County man faces up to 10 years in prison, after pleading guilty to a federal weapons charge.

Eddie Lee Conley Jr., 45, was found with a .38 caliber handgun when he was arrested last May at a Chapmanville motel. He had previously been convicted of a felony drug charge in Logan County.

He pleaded guilty to felon in possession of a firearm in federal court on Friday.

He will be sentenced in June.
