Logan man charged with heroin, fentanyl trafficking

CHARLESTONS, W.Va. — A Logan County man has been indicted on federal drug and gun charges.

Ted Allen Topeka Sr., of Omar, is charged with distributing heroin and fentanyl and possessing a gun during a drug crime.

Topeka is accused of being found with more than 100 grams of heroin and more than 40 grams of fentanyl, as well as a Ruger .380 handgun, back on Aug. 1.

He is expected to appear in court for arraignment and a detention hearing on Thursday.
