SALYERSVILLE, Ky. — Two Magoffin County women have been named in a federal drug indictment handed down last week.
Minnie Johnson, 60, and Jennifer Fletcher, 44, both of Salyersville, are the only two defendants who have been publicly identified in the case. The identities of one or more additional defendants remain under seal, indicating they are not yet in custody.
Fletcher and Johnson are each charged with conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of meth and more than 40 grams of fentanyl. Fletcher is also charged with one count of distributing controlled substances, while Johnson is charged with two counts of the charge.
Due to the amount of drugs involved, the two women face a minimum of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life if convicted.
