FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentucky saw its highest one-day number of cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, with more than 5,700 new cases reported. That brings the total to more than 286,000.
Thirty-four more Kentuckians have died, raising the death toll to 2,806.
Nearly 1,800 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19, including 428 in intensive care and 244 on ventilators.
The state’s positivity rate now stands at 11.66 percent.
