Man charged with sexually assaulting two students at Chapmanville Regional High School

CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — A West Virginia man has been arrested following an investigation into the sexual assault of a juvenile at a Logan County high school.

The investigation began last month at Chapmanville Regional High School. During the investigation, the school resource officer obtained information of a second assault involving another juvenile.

On Wednesday, police arrested 20-year-old Daylan Jemerison on charges of second-degree sexual assault, third-degree sexual assault, and third-degree sexual abuse. He is being held in the Southwest Regional Jail on a 50-thousand dollar bond.
