LOVELY, Ky. –  A house fire Monday morning claimed the life of an elderly Martin County resident.  Crews responded around 9am, after a 9-1-1 call was made reporting a fire on Runyon Drive just inside Martin County near the Hatfield community. Neighbors and relatives of the home’s resident, 70 year old Cathy Alene Runyon were also there, and told firefighters they believed she was still inside.  Kentucky State Police officials say once the fire was extinguished and firefighters could enter the home, they found a deceased person inside.  The body found inside the residence is believed to be that of Runyon. An autopsy will be performed by the state medical examiner in Frankfort Tuesday morning.
