Pike County Central High School has named a new assistant principal, and it’s someone who is no stranger to the school.

Matt Moon has been named to the position.

Moon is familiar with Pike Central, having served as band director there from 2004 to 2019.

More recently, he has served as assistant principal at Adams Middle School in Prestonsburg.
