No homicide charges in Breonna Taylor case

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The long-awaited decision by a Louisville grand jury in the shooting death of EMT Breonna Taylor by three Louisville police officers is in.

The result: No charges of murder or manslaughter for any of the officers.

Only one of the men — Brett Hankison — faces any charges. The grand jury indicted him on three counts of wanting endangerment — a Class D misdemeanor punishable by 1-to-5 years in prison.
