DORTON, Ky. — A Somerset sex offender has been arrested in Pike County, after he allegedly moved to Dorton without informing authorities.

Gregory White, 35, was indicted in Pulaski County back in February on a charge of failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements, after authorities lost track of him. He was arrested Tuesday when he was discovered living on Blaze Branch Road in Dorton.

Back in 2013, White was convicted of using a computer to induce a 12-year-old into engaging in a sexual offense. He was sentenced to one year in prison, but was required to keep the sex offender registry informed of his address for 20 years.

Prior to moving to Dorton, his last known address was in Somerset.

White is being held in the Pike County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
